Introductions!

Greetings, Bridge Year 9.0!
It’s time to introduce ourselves on the Yak Board. The Yak Board is a place where we can start to get to know each other, ask questions, and share our journey with the Princeton community, our friends and families, and others who might be interested in what we’re up to in India.

The Yak Board is a place where we can start to get to know each other, ask questions, and share our journey with the Princeton community, our friends and families, and others who might be interested in what we’re up to in India.

In your intro “yak,” we would love for you to share the following:

  • A picture of yourself, your name, and your hometown (or wherever it is that you call home and why — we know this can be a complicated question). Tell us something about the place you come from.
  • How is it that you play or relax at home? Do you like sports? Games? Books? What are some of your favorite ways to enjoy your relaxing moments?
  • What are some of your passions? What do you find yourself reading about in your free time? Do you volunteer somewhere?
  • Please post a photo of something related to Indian culture/music/food/politics your are interested in or have a question about.
  • Please share one thing that you are doing to prepare yourself to move to India. It could be an interesting article that you read and want to share, a Bollywood music video, or a travel tip you learned…

Also, feel free to use this Yak Board to post your questions or any concerns you might have.

We can’t wait to read your introductions!
