Nepal is full of pleasant surprises. After our nighttime arrival to Pharping, we all awoke jet-lagged and amazed to find ourselves amongst prayer flags and beautiful fog covered hills. We’ve been enjoying getting to know one another, playing volleyball with the locals, drinking lots of milk tea, and visiting the neighboring communities. Today we went into the town of Pharping and visited the cave where Padmasambhava (the master who brought Buddhism from India to Tibet) reached enlightenment as well as hung our own prayer flags on a hill above Pharping. We are enjoying our last few days in Pharping before embarking on our three day warm up trek next week. Dhanyabaad and namaste, Liv and Magnolia. Check back later!
