Dear friends and family,
We have crossed the border into Bolivia, and are on our way to our long homestays in Cochabamba. We are tired after almost 24 hours in bus rides and immigration offices, and looking forward to some quality time in one place. Students move into their homestays on Saturday afternoon, and we begin Independent Study Projects on Monday. We will be in Cochabamba for almost 4 weeks taking intensive Spanish classes, getting grounded into Bolivia.
After a month of moving around Peru together, we are all ready for some rest and a little more independence.
As we said goodbye to Peru last night, our friend Siwar Kenti came to facilitate one final ceremony for us as we watched the sun set over Cusco. We’ll miss Peru, but we are super excited for the next stage of our journey!
