In every part of the world, but especially here in Latin America, dance is an integral part of a country’s culture and history. Bolivia is known for its many unique styles of dance. Cueca here in Cochabamba. Caporales in La Paz. Tinkus from Potosí. Saraoy down in Santa Cruz. Plus many, many more.
One dance that wasn’t born here in Bolivia but one that Bolivians have come to love is Salsa. With the help of Doug’s wife Raysa last night we were able to meet with one of the best Salsa teachers in Cochabamba. Here are a couple candid photos from last night’s class.
