Our crew remains always enthusiastic for outdoor adventure.
This morning they played futsal (small sided soccer), for an hour, which was not nearly enough time!
Yesterday we visited the Nepal Outdoor Activities Center and learned more about mountaineering and mountain medicine from Dr. Nima Namgyal Sherpa. But there was not enough time to play with all the toys!
Tomorrow the (other) Great Stupa of Swayambhunath. Its 500 steps, 500 monkeys, and 500 adventures await us. It will be our first excursion totally planned out by the students!
On Wednesday we will hike up to Nagi Gompa nunnery for a 5 day meditation retreat, which will certainly be a challenge mentally, emotiinally and spiritually. Our retreat will culminate in our group ascending Shivapuri peak, ths highest point of the rim of the Kathmandu Valley, weather permitting!
And for the week after that… who knows?
But we can be sure it will be outdoors… and be an Adventure!
