The Chronicles of the Baktapur scavenger hunt

For our first day in the city Bhaktapur, we were sent out on our own for a challenging scavenger hunt. Our first stop was at a shop on the street, run by a friendly English teacher. Helped us identify where to find some of the items on our list. We proceeded to walk through the city’s alleys, until we came to the popular Durbar Square. While resting there, a local man approached us, who was incredibly kind. He showed us around to some lesser-known parts of the city. One of the places we all enjoyed most was a singing bowl shop. In this shop, we learned certain practices of spiritual healing. By the end of the day, we’d ended up getting back to the hotel an hour late, but it was very much worth it.
