I decided to include some of my favorite pictures in this Yak Post. I hope they convey some of the powerful energy I felt taking them.
Photo 1: Our First Long Bus Ride: Phnom Penh
Photo 2: Simple Joy
This is probably my very favorite picture. I had played with this little girl for some time. When I asked her for a picture, she picked up her cat and burst into laughter.
Photo 3: Camping and Bonfire Preparations
This was taken on the first night of our trek in Kirirom National Park. We had so much fun collecting wood, making fire and cooking together and I felt very peaceful being surrounded by so much good energy.
Photo 4: Angkor Wat
At Angkor Wat at 6:45 in the morning. We got up so early and once we arrived at the temple grounds, Robbie, Wilson, Westby and I ran to catch the sun rising over Angkor Wat. When we arrived at the spot we realized how touristy and crowded it was and decided to go inside the temple. There we took this picture.
Photo 5: Thoughts in Angkor Wat
After taking lots of pictures at this tremendous temple, I decided to sit down for a while to journal and reflect. Wilson took this picture of me.
Photo 6: Sunset from Our Boat
On the evening of our two day boat ride up the Mekong River, shortly before we set up our hammocks to sleep on the deck.
