Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. Margaret Mead
Good morning from Siem Reap and our last Breakfast here in Cambodia. We are off to the airport this morning with a full heart and lots of love for the people we have met and shared experiences with and while here in Cambodia.
There’s no simple way to explain the transformation we have all undergone during our time here but, we understand that the more we know, the more we are accountable for what we know, and then making responsible life choices based on that knowledge and our privilege.
As well it is our curiosity and ability to question and challenge the information presented to us so that we find meaningful answers that will help us do our part in creating a safer more harmonious and just world for all. Compassion and forgiveness are just two words unless you live them every day, here in Cambodia we are surrounded people who do just that – Cambodia will forever live in our hearts and our minds. We take with us images that can not be captured and critical thinking skills that have made us look at everything with new eyes.
