Trekking and Kathmandu

Dear Him B friends and family,

An update from the field before we head into our rural home stay in the foothills of the Himalaya.

The main group is progressing well on the trek, moving together as a group, camping each night in tents. They also spent an incredible rest day visiting a remote Gomba (Buddhist temple) near which they camped, on the hillside beneath.

Those here with me in Kathmandu have also had an enjoyable few days, reconnecting with their home stay families and getting some deserved (and needed!) rest time. We’ve also had more Nepali language classes and ISP sessions, learning cooking, photography and stitching. Tonight we will stay together before taking a jeep ride for a few hours to meet the rest of the group in the village we’ll all call home for the next phase of the course.

We’ll still be without reliable internet connectivity during our rural home stay phase, but will be staying in regular contact with the office to update on our progress.

Until next time, love to you all from Nepal!

Dave,

Him B Instructor.
