My name is Annabelle, and I live near Burlington, Vermont. I am very excited, and also a little nervous to be going on this trip with you all! My brother went on a Dragon’s semester program to Nepal in 2014 and inspired me to explore that part of the world. I did a student exchange program for three months in France last spring, and can’t wait to continue traveling this summer. I chose this program because I wanted to travel in a way that immersed me in the culture rather than just observing it from the outside. I experienced this while living with my host family in France, and knew it was the way I wanted to see the word.
Some things about me 🙂
I am seventeen. I play celtic harp, love listening to music, doing yoga, and reading. I play basketball for my school team, waterski (someone mentioned waterskiing!) and enjoy reading and drawing. My school is very small (there are fifteen people in my grade), so I am always interested in finding opportunity to meet new people. I can’t wait to meet you all! It’s hard to believe how soon we’re leaving.
