INTRODUCTION

Hi there! I’m Jose Miguel. I’ll be turning 18 just a few days before the beginning of the programme. I’m proudly Mexican and have lived in Mexico City for almost my whole life (I studied one year in England). I’m a big fan of tennis and definitely consider it my favourite sport. I have way too many hobbies: I like to read, I love all kinds of music, I like to spend time with my family & fiends, I enjoy school, I love debating and reading about politics and economy and I enjoy traveling as part I’ve done since I was very little. I speak Spanish, English, can manage with French and know just a little bit of Chinese. This is the very first time I will visit Asia and I’m very much looking forward to it; I do believe this programme will provide each and every one of us with fascinating experiences, as well as important time for reflection. Besides this, I’m very excited about what China has to offer: a diverse culture, people, cuisine, traditions, etc. and I’m eager to learn, try and taste everything along the way so that when I come back home I have a real taste of what China is really like.

I can’t wait to meet you all and set off on this unbelievable adventure!

See you soon!

Jose Miguel
