Inle Lake

After our homestay we stopped for a few days along the shores of Inle lake, Myanmar’s biggest body of fresh water. We visited a traditional weaving house where people make woven textiles made from the silk taken from the stems of Lotus flowers, spent hours touring the lake from traditional, flat-bottomed, long boats and spent an evening reflecting on the first half of our time here in Myanmar.
