On Impermanence

I am of earth and rock,
Wind and sky,
River and ocean
I am of everything the world
Creates and destroys
When the wind ceases to blow
My last breath will have been drawn
When the mountains turn to valleys,
My body will return to dust
I am of the birds and the bees,
The wind in the trees,
And all that is free
