Today, we were given the challenge to do a scavenger hunt in Gangtok, Sikkim. Our team was Sophie, Olivia, and Aiden. It was fun, in that we had to find items that aren’t widely accessible in other parts of the world, and we got to explore the city while doing so.
The activity greatly improved our knowledge of Sikkim. We learned how to cooperate as a group, and had fun while doing so. We explored the city and got to see and familiarize ourselves with the area. We also talked to the locals. The hardest item for us to find was laundry detergent called patanjari surf. Additionally, we all got a little bit confused about the definition of globalization…. We did get some pictures of cute dogs though!
