Hello fellow travelers! My name is Julia and I am from Kalispell, a small town in NW Montana. I just graduated high school and am taking a gap year before going to McGill University in Montreal. I decided to take a gap year because I didn’t want to jump right back into school and to have the opportunity to explore more of the world and all it has to offer! Nepal was intriguing to me because of its culture and its incredible terrain and mountains. I am especially excited for the trek and to learn more about buddhism and meditation. I’m also stoked to be learning a new language and to learn about the history of Nepal.

I spend my summers hiking in nearby Glacier National Park, camping, and going to the lake as well as working at a local ice cream store! During high school I played soccer and ice hockey, and I also played the flute in band. I also enjoy skiing and hanging out with my three cats 🙂

I can’t wait to meet you all!
