Getting to “really” know me!!

Hey everyone, my name is Zoe! I’m so psyched to be spending the next three months building new connections, memories, and most likely leg muscles. I know it’s going to be a trip of a lifetime. Anyway, at summer camp we used to always play a bonding game in our cabin called “If you really knew me, you would know…”. So I thought it’s a perfect way to begin my introduction.

If you really knew me, you would know…

I’m extremely passionate about politics and human rights. Right now, I see a future career in one of those fields but then again, who knows what life holds?

I smile a lot because I believe that if you are always smiling, you’ll always be in a good mood.

Water is my happy place. It always feels healing to me. You can find me in the pool or ocean almost as much as on dry land, whether I’m swimming, playing water polo, teaching swim lessons or just floating peacefully.

I am a huge sports fan thanks to my older brother. Football, basketball, or baseball is omnipresent in my house. The only downside about our trip is that it falls right during the post season for baseball so I won’t be able to follow the action with my family.

I consider myself a bit of a nerd and social activist but, as much as I hate to admit it, I have a soft spot for The Bachelor. Right now I’m hooked on Bachelor in Paradise.

I’m a wannabe yogi.

I’m a huge animal person.

I love going to foreign countries and one day I hope to speak at least 4 languages.

I am a sucker for any dad joke.

And last but not least, I’ll use any excuse to wear Birkenstocks.

I hope that’s enough information to quell any curiosity about me for the time being ;). I can’t wait to meet everyone in less than two weeks!
