My name is Geoff. I am 17, from New York and graduated from high school in June. I deferred college for a year and could not be happier that I am packing for Nepal right now instead of sitting in a lecture hall.
I chose Nepal because the airport defies logic, the mountains matter, and I want to get wet when it rains. I want no frames of reference and the opportunity to say that all I know about something is that I will never be able to understand it.
I play a lot of baseball, love to eat and cook, and am a major computer geek. Disconnecting is going to be my first challenge, but I am looking forward to looking up (and not on the web).
I could not be more excited about this experience.
