Hi everyone! We had an amazing orientation!!
We are in San Lucas Toliman.
For our last day of orientation we went on a sunrise hike to Cero de Oro, a mountain on the lake.We left at 5 and got to the top of the mountain at 8. We stopped at a holy shrine on the way up and from there we we walked silently to the top. Este was explaining to us that talking can fill up a lot of space and we lose the opportunity to hear everything nature is trying to tell us from the wind to the lake to the sun. The hike was a perfect way to end orientation because it gave us all the chance to bond and hangout, while also leaving some time for us to listen to our surroundings. Once we reached the top we sat and enjoyed the beautiful view of the Lake Atitlan for some time.
ps Hi mom and dad ! You will have emails from me so soon! Miss you all.
