the end of orientation

After four long days, we have officially finished the orientation phase of our trip. Orientation happened in Samaipata, a beautiful city surrounded by mountains. Although we spent most of our days learning about each other and the trip, we also got to hike and spend a couple hours in the town. The town was really cute with lots of colorful houses and dogs everywhere. Our hike was a long trek straight up a mountain which was definitely difficult, but worth it for the view. It got everyone excited for the rest of the views to come.

Now, we are spending a few days in Sucre, a much much bigger city that is also higher in elevation. We’ve had more opportunity to explore alone and it has been really cool! We are experiencing lots of new people, foods, and lifestyles and it has been eye opening!
