The students are enjoying life with their Tibetan families here in northern Yunnan. We’re right on the border with Tibet and fully embracing Tibetan culture, as well as rural life. Many of the students have been helping out in the fields or just generally helping around the farm with daily chores.
Yesterday our homestay family asked asked if the whole group could help with their grape vines. We were told that we needed to trim back the new leaf growth on the vines to allow the grapes to flourish. The whole group dived straight in and we spent the afternoon doing service for out Homestay family. Here are some photos of us working in the fields.
