To cap off our October in Nepal, Connor and Wyeth planned an evening Halloween event for our group. On the roof of our Program House in Chokati, we arrived to a tarp covered in pumpkins, carving tools, local candy, and lots of candles. As the valley pushed its last light out, we ate caramels, sang Monster Mash, and used sickles to carve faces in pumpkins.
While resources for costumes were limited, we traded wardrobes and dressed as one another. As we head into November and the nights get cooler, we continue to celebrate our time together, one evening at a time.
