The Morocco team is currently in Ouzoud Falls pausing for a minute from our busy schedule to reflect, process, and debrief all that we have seen and experienced thus far in Morocco. We are also working to set goals and make plans for the second half of the course.
Please enjoy some photos from our time in Ouzoud.
We have made some slight changes to our itinerary for the second half of course. After Ouzoud we will head to Ait Bougemez and Timmit for four days (10/21-24) of agricultural work (farming apples, walnuts and alfalfa) with two Peace Corps Volunteers and local organizations. Then we will be taking off for our 8-day trek (10/25 – 11/1) in the Atlas Mountains and then we will start our 12-days of homestay in Azlag, outside Qalaat M’Gouna (11/2 – 14).
Following that we have some flexible time and student final expedition, the details of which we will post before hand.
We will do our transference and course end from November 29 to December 5, then spend a final day in Casablanca before flying home.
For family and friends reading at home, please know that, for the next three weeks we will have more limited access to the internet and so will have fewer opportunities to write email – we’ll post yaks when we can!
