Midcourse: Perú a Bolivia

Dear family and friends,

Our mid course came at a natural transition as we moved from Perú to Bolivia. We took our time to transition mixing group facilitation, processing and play in Cusco. We left Perú on an almost full moon view from the planetarium before embarking on a 14 hour bus ride to El Alto (La Paz), Bolivia. And as the notion that this course is a marathon, not a sprint has begun to sink in we are beyond thrilled to be greeted by the energy and care of Teatro Trono. And especially to have Iván join our instructor team and crew. Iván has so much to share with students I am going to leave space for their words and reflections after this week to describe the gift it is to have him with us for a few weeks.

To greet Bolivia today we took the famous teleférico down to the city and visited Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon). This evening students will be greeted by Teatro Trono community members as they move into homestays for the week.

With lots of hopes and fears for the 2nd leg of our journey we continue on in the commitment of practicing the Four Agreements by Miguel Ángel Ruiz Macías:

  1. Be impeccable with your word.
  2. Don’t take anything personally.
  3. Don’t make assumptions.
  4. Always do your best.

Thanks for all your blessings and support!
