Hi Dear Families and Friends,
We wanted to keep you up to date with the Morocco program and share with you some beautiful moments which our students are having. On October 6th, students organized their first X-phase (“Expedition Phase” – student-planned and student-led travel) to Um-Rabia Waterfall. Before they started their journey, students took transportation to reach the closest lake, where they had lunch and enjoyed walking around. After that, they started a hike to the water source. During the hike, students enriched their experiences by meeting nomad families and seeing their living conditions. When they arrived, students explored the area and met some locals working there. They also learned how people in the area set up their shops and restaurants on the edges of the river to attract visitors. We’ll keep in touch!
