Prayers and intentions

Surrounded, Lauren is stopped in her tracks. We were both surprised by the immensity of this scene in the forested ridge behind Namo Gompa. This shot was completely candid.

Tibetan prayer flags are a familiar feature of the Himalaya, usually drawn from high to low on sacred urban Stupas as well as marking high passes and snowcapped peaks. Always, they are a comforting reminder that others have come by these parts with good intentions, and that we are not lost.
