An Introduction

¡Hola a [email protected]!

I want to start off by saying how excited I am to be an instructor on this program. This will be my 3rd program with Dragons, but my first in South America!

For most of the past seven years, I have lived in Nepal. I began as an English teacher in a rural school and then I worked at a high school as an anthropology teacher, college counselor, and outdoors and community service leader.  In Nepal, I was inspired by the diverse cultures and languages of the region and whenever I could I would head into the mountains for trekking.

This past year I started working for Dragons and have really enjoyed it. The communities and my fellow instructors have inspired me to learn more about myself and the world around me. I am incredibly grateful for that.

I know you all must be a mixture of nervous and excited and that’s ok. That is exactly how I was the first time I studied abroad. I ask though that you come with an open mind and be ready to challenge yourself.

I look forward to meeting you very soon and please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have.
