Heading to Transference

On Saturday Dec 1 the students went on a hike up from Nagi Gompa Nunnery up into the Shivapuri National Park, and climbed Shivapuri Peak, the highest point of the Kathmandu Valley Rim.

Pictures of the group at the sacred Bagdwar spring, the source of the holy Bagmati River, which runs from just below the peak through Kathmandu and into the southern plains.

It was a beautiful way to complete our stay at the nunnery, located deep in the forest. From there we moved to our transference location, a beautiful resort in the mountains. We began today reflecting on the last three months and celebrating all we’ve done.
