Indonesia Tsunami Update

Dear Dragons Indonesia Students and Families,

We wanted to provide an update on the recent tsunami that tragically affected communities in West Java and Southern Sumatra. The tsunami was triggered last weekend by underwater landslides surrounding the offshore Anak Krakatau volcano located in the Sunda Strait. Fortunately, our student group currently based in Java, as well as all other Dragons community contacts and resources, were entirely unaffected by the natural disaster. We are all deeply saddened by the tragedy and offer our sincerest condolences to those impacted.

Our programs do not travel to the affected regions and we do not anticipate any changes to our spring semester plans. As part of our risk management protocols, Dragons has a carefully designed natural disaster preparedness plan in place for Indonesia.

If you have any questions or concerns, please be in touch with our offices.
