Hi! My name is Caroline and I am really excited for our upcoming journey! I am currently taking a gap year so I can engage in new experiences before heading to college. I love scuba diving, listening to music (I have quite a broad taste), traveling to new places, and spending time with my family and friends (my younger sister is in the other photo).

I’m really looking forward to meeting all of you and hearing your stories. I’m excited for our home stays, the trekking, and learning more about Buddhism.

I find that when I disconnect and put myself in new situations, I am able to learn more about myself and that is one of the many things I am really excited to get out of this course.

See you all soon:)

“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”
