Hitch-hiker’s Guide to the Andes (jk, red rules)

[email protected] ToDos,

We made it! We were glad to have many hours at Miami airport because our dear friend Hamzah thought we were leaving the next day. After a nice sprint through the Bogota airport, we arrived in the bright, oxygen-deprived, dog-filled ciudad de Cuzco. Dazed, we met up with our instructors armed with 12 steripens and 11/12 bags (shout-out to Lydia’s bag in Lima).

Here are four words/phrases to describe our past 48.019 hours in the Sacred Valley:

  • Ice-breakers and Poop-scales
  • Over-hydration
  • Coca leaves and soup
  • Broken Spanish and Beautiful Views

Currently in the pueblo of Calca, we are on a cut-throat scavenger hunt! Must say, had to copy and cut the “2 (Sorry) @ sign. Different world but we out here thrivin’.

Psyched to be here, more updates comin’ your way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
