Packing Question

Do we need an adapter plug for charging steripens/cameras in Bolivia or Perú?

Response: The outlets in Bolivia and Peru can accommodate a two prong US charger.  If you have a device with three prongs (usually only larger devices like computers), you will need a two-prong adapter which are also readily available in-country.

The outlets in South America are 220 volts (the US is 110 volts).  Most electronic devices have an internal converter that can tolerate 220 volts; you can check the small print on the chargers of your devices to double-check.
