Dear Marion, Matthew, Ulla, Carly, David, and Halsey,
I feel so happy and honored with the chance to join you as an instructor on your Dragons Journey, together with Japhy and Siwar, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. I read all of your yak posts and I am so excited to get know each of you more. My name is Annelies. I am originally from Belgium and after 15 years living and working here in the adventure travel industry, I recently obtained double-nationality and also become a proud Peruvian. My husband, Pablo, is also a Dragons instructor and we have a little 1.5 year old son, Nando, who loves llamas. I really love my second home country for so many reasons and hope I will be able to spark and share a bit of this love for Peru with you during this course.
I am sure we will have a chance to get to know each other very well during the course. I just wanted to introduce myself to you here quickly and let you know that you may always reach out to me with any questions you might have about your time in Peru. I am here to help you before, during and after the course 🙂
This will be my 7th course to instruct with Dragons, of which 5 were in Peru (1 in Panama and 1 in Indonesia). On 5 of these 7 courses I worked together with Japhy on an instructor team. I think you are incredible lucky to travel with him as I think he truly is one of the most incredible facilitators and inspiring people that I’ve ever met.
Nos vemos pronto amigos! (See each other soon friends!)
