Machu Picchu Planning

The past few weeks we have been working together as a team to plan our upcoming visit to Machu Picchu. We all have different roles including transportation coordinators, budget directors, and group gaurdians. Yesterday we spent most of the morning finalizing details and planning meals. We also watched a very informative documentary about the man who discovered Machu Picchu. Today we all went out to purchase supplies for the trek (I bought 1 kilo of raisins). Everyone is getting excited for the 3 hour walk and 5 hour bus ride, not to mention the 1 hour of stair climbing to reach the entrance of Machu Picchu on the second day. But seriously, we are all super excited to get to see the amazing Inka ruins, most of us for the first time, and for the chance to travel through beautiful landscapes together.
