Jack Ballenger’s reflection:

I have been in Guatemala for three days. The first day, we traveled to Guatemala City and Antigua. The second day we woke up at 5:45 to climb up a mountain, and we could see the colorful city of Antigua. We ate breakfast and went to San Juan. We visited the TATA coffee shop and learned about coffee, taquitos, and Guatemalan history. We went to a chocolate bussiness. and we learned about the chocolate and its impact on Guatemala. It was interetsing to see how agricultural products change Guatemalan history. The third day we hiked up a mountain in order to swim in a waterfall and see San Juan from a lookout point. We also learned about a Guatemalan artifact and its history. We ate lunch with a host family and learned about traditional music. The trip has been very fun.
