This I believe

I believe in the warmth your hands feel while holding your morning coffee and slowly sipping from your favorite cup, in the warmth of my mom’s chicken soup when I’m feeling sick. In my dad singing in the morning while he gets ready, announcing it’s time to get up. In both their laughs that I can recognize even halfway across the world.

I believe in my love for nature, in the strong standing mountains, the brightness of the sun and the illumination of the moon. In the life that water provides, because without it we wouldn’t exist.

I believe in love. The love I feel when my puppy cuddles with me while sitting by the fire. In the love you can receive and transmit with just your eyes. The love that fills you up when you’re laughing with the right people, those who really get you.

I believe in loving yourself, trusting yourself and looking inwards to realize you already have everything you need to be happy. I believe in my tears and cracking voice that surface when I’m trying to convey all my emotions. Most of all I believe that intention is everything.

And this, I believe.
