Headed for student led Expedition phase

Him B Headed for X-phase
After almost four incredible weeks in Patan where we were in full mode of immersing ourselves in the urban life, learning from numerous people and visiting incredible places we are headed to the lovely place called Kaski Pokhara for the next week to do a small trek, enjoy the view of the mountains, meditate, learn about climate change through mountain museums and explore all that the Himalayan town has to offer. We will take a long bus ride on Sunday morning from Patan to Pokhara. We will be back to Bhaktapur on Saturday 27th April for our transference.

This next week is a part of the course we like to call student expedition phase. This is the time where the students take full charge of planning, executing and running the course. This time is aimed at allowing students to put in practice the leadership skills and team work that they have learned in their time in Nepal so far. They have already spent several hours meticulously planning as a team and the excitement and anticipation to take charge of this week is high.

Sorry that we’ve not posted too many yaks recently. There’s just a lot of cool things happening here in Patan but we will make sure to update you all with pictures and stories of the expedition phase.
But for now, we would like to fill our eyes and ears to the brim with the views and sounds of Patan for one last time.
