The Beijing National Day School

Yesterday, we headed out to the Beijing National Day School. Once we arrived, we were greeted warmly by a group of teachers and students who showed us around their school. Each floor contained many interesting, but significant classrooms that accommodated all of the different grades levels that it contained. There were two extra floors that ranged from an art museum to a library, which both had their own specific characteristics. We then participated in activities that allowed us to create a piece of art that symbolized Chinese culture and we learned how to cook Kung Pao chicken. After the school day ended for the students of the Beijing National Day School, we finished off the day by playing some basketball. This was one of the most memorable experiences that we have encountered here, and we hope that the next day will be much better.
