Varanasi is hectic, with bustling streets that are filled with tuktuks and cows. There are vibrant colors on every building, along with fun ads and friendly faces in each little shop. The hotel is beautiful, with pink walls and a view of the Ganges. The people are kind, and as well as a hotel, it acts as an orphanage, a surgery, and a school. From the hotel we rode tuktuks, narrowly dodging other vehicles. From there we embarked on a scavenger hunt that required us to visit shops and ask locals for help. We plan to visit a mosque and make an offering to the goddess of the river, Ganga.
