The past two days have been hectic. Yesterday, we met with two guest speakers. The first one was Cheery Zahau, she is an activist for men and women of Chin State. She spoke of the hardships the government imposes on the people.
Later that day, we met Kaitlyn, an environmental science activist. She spoke about international NGOs causing people to lose their land to the growth of national parks.
The second picture is with a man called Aung Kyaw Moe, he is the executive director of the Center for Social Integrity. He spoke of his journey to get an education, specifically the different constrictions the government enforced to prevent people from Rekhine State to get an education and citizenship.
Today, we woke up early to take a 9 hour bus from Yangon to Bagan.
