The past few days we have spent our time in the village called Ale Gaun and the beauty of this place reminds me that God always lives in nature. You can see this very visually here how the traditional things have followed generation by generation. The way people give respect and honor to this land, it just makes us think about this beautiful quote from Mother Teresa:
We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.
We are moving tomorrow into Midcourse, the next phase of our journey. We’ll be settling into another beautiful place full of nature’s beauty, similarly like this place. After spending two there, we will slowly move to our urban homestay in Patan.
