Home is where… the ceere is?

After our first homestay in Thies, we had wonderful time exploring the mountains of Kedougou as a close knit group. A few days ago, we began our second homestay of the course. Whereas before, we were in an urban environment with fish and rice (ceeb, pronounced cheb) almost everyday, in the village of Temento Samba we will be enjoying “ceere” (pronounced chair-ay), a millet-based couscous.

Enjoy these photos from our meet & greet in the central meeting space outside Samba’s family home!
