Our group attended the iconic Tse Tschu celebration here in Bumthang. Tse Tschu is an annual celebration held in different parts of Bhutan at different times of the year. This celebration worships Guru Rinpoche as the one of the most important figures of Buddhism here.
Tse Tschu is attended by thousands of people all attending it in their traditional Bhutanese attire so our group also attended in our fresh traditional Bhutanese dresses and thoroughly enjoyed seeing this incredibly vibrant and colourful aspect of Bhutanese culture that is also seems to be an integral part of the idea of Gross National Happiness. Attached are some of the pictures and hope you enjoy them.
