This afternoon we arrived back in Sucre after our trek. We travelled through a spectacular mountain range called the Cordillera los Frailes. The Frailes is a colorful and rugged range replete with ancient cave paintings, well preserved dinosaur tracks, and small communities known for incredible weavings. Except for a few blisters, we’re all happy and healthy and ready for the next stage of the course.
Tonight we head to Cochabamba to start our homestay. It’s a quick turnaround from finishing our trek to catching our bus so you’ll hear more about our travels when we get settled in Cochabamba. A few students tried to call home but the phone had a bad connection. We’ll have a phone with better connection and more time to contact home when in Cochabamba.
