Namaste (greeting) from another Instructor !

Namaste Everyone,

Congratulations on making the courageous decision to join us for an enchanting journey to Nepal. You can expect to be inspired, challenged, intrigued, confused, delighted, and much more. You will hear different languages, observe different religions, and meet people with different values and belief systems. This is a tremendous opportunity to open yourself to a new and unfamiliar traditions! As we travel through Nepal, it’s good to keep an open mind and heart. Ask questions, release expectations, and know that this will be a transformative experience for all of us—including Dragons instructors!

A little about myself, my name is Hemant and I will be joining you guys on your upcoming exciting and breathtaking journey. I was born and grew up on the sacred bank of the River Ganges (Ganga-ji) in Varanasi, India. I still remember going with my parents for a holy dip in the river every morning. I developed a keen interest in Yoga at a very early age when I was 8 years old. I was introduced to yoga as a lifestyle and through initial training by my parents and also studied yoga from many Gurus (teachers) & traditions. At the age of 14, I moved to an orphanage/Ashram (home for kids) where I met my spiritual teacher. There I was initiated, learned and served at that orphanage for 5 years. In the meantime I finished my high school and senior secondary (10+2) and then moved to Bangalore for higher studies. Having done my Bachelor’s and Master’s I moved back to Varanasi where I came in contact with Dragons and have been working with them since 2011.

I am thrilled to have awesome Instructors like Shanti-ji & Vincent-ji on this sacred trail and Christy-ji as an incredible program director. I am very excited to meet you all in person soon.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out, if you have any questions and concerns at [email protected]

Peace and Love,

Hemant Kumar
