Hasta pronto Samaipata

Hasta pronto Samaipata,

The place of gatherings, the place of rest in the highlands. We have had a very full, fun, informative and thoughtful 4 days. Our meals have been delicious and amazing; and even then we don’t think this description will do full justice to them. Yesterday night on Wednesday we had our last dinner at this amazing energetic center where we chose to begin this trip. Today we will start wrapping up Orientation and come to final conclusions about the student’s individual goals and values and inviting them to create their group mission statement so as to have a philosophical guide for the rest of their program.

After filling up our tummies with what will be a delicious and nutritious lunch, we will be departing Casa Yvy.

Tonight we’ll have arrived in Buena Vista were we will be meeting our guides for our trek during the next 3 and a half days in Amboro National Park. Hopefully we will swim in lagoons, waterfalls and see lots of new plants and animals in this tropical rainforest.

We will update again after our trek when we reach our homestay location.

Saludos de los instructores,

Colleen, Cat and Jesse
