Hi! I’m Bridget!

Hey y’all! My name is Bridget, and I live right outside of DC in Alexandria, Virginia. I graduated from T.C. Williams High School in June (Remember the Titans…?), and I will be attending the University of Virginia next fall.

In high school, I was involved in a lot of environmental advocacy organizations. I also became interested in educational policy when I was the student representative to my city’s School Board.

I’m passionate about social justice and sustainability, so I’m excited to see how those topics are intertwined into Peruvian and Bolivian culture.

In college, I’m thinking about double majoring in biology and public policy (we’ll see though, ya never know) because I think working in environmental policymaking would be interesting.

In my free time, I really like making dad jokes, singing/yelling songs in the car, dancing mucho, baking, HAMMOCKING, and doing things outdoors (playing sports ~ I love field hockey ~ hiking, skiing, etc).

I like all types of music, but recently I’ve been listening to a lot of alternative rock and folk (Hippo Campus, Head and the Heart, Pete Seeger, etc).

I’m so excited to meet you all! See ya soon!
