This past week we had the amazing opportunity to participate in the retreat at Kopan. Something that really resonated with me was the notion that you get good at what you practice– so if this notion goes for worries and fears, why not practice happiness and compassion instead? I had such a fun time getting to know other participants who came from all around the world and learning from their experiences and stories. Even in silence, there were plenty of smiles and giggles to go around. Overall, I am extraordinarily grateful for this opportunity, and I look forward to seeing how my new knowledge and experiences can apply to my everyday life.
