There is a Gondola!!!!!

We made it to Bolivia!

While we are sad to leave Peru we have successfully arrived in La Paz, Bolivia after a 15 hour bus ride. We arrived tired but eager to take advantage of our one day here. In order to see as much of the city as possible we decided it would be best to take public transportation around the city. Little did we know that the public transportation consists of a series of gondolas that stretch across the entire city and connect to the sister city of La Paz, El Alto. Maddie (currently controlling our budget) bought our tickets and while we waited we grabbed some cheese stuffed empanadas. They were absolutely amazing and Jackson, Gabrielle, Reeve, Evan and I ripped open the bag once we entered the gondola. While it was strange to be in a gondola without my skis the amazing views of the city quickly distracted me. We rose above the city among locals commuting pointing out different  architecture, street art, and trying to practice our spanish. We loved exploring the city from above and cant wait to return after our homestays in Tiquipaya.
