Dear Friends and Family,
The group is well and enjoying their time in Tocaña, Bolivia. This is a rural agricultural community and students are learning how to plant and harvest coca, an incredibly significant harvest for Bolivians. They have had incredible guest speakers about the importance of coca to the community of Tocaña and its historical significance. The group is really enjoying the homestay families and they have been helping out around the home and working alongside their families in their fields. The group will be in Tocaña until Tuesday morning.
