Itinerary Update: Choquequirao Machu Picchu Trek Delayed until 11/22

Dear Friends and Family,

The group is doing well in Cusco, Peru. They have decided to delay the the trek start until the 22nd. The trek itinerary will be almost the same but they will take transport from Yanama to Hidroelectrica/Santa Teresa on 11/27 instead of walking this portion of the trek.

For the time being the group will be spending time in the Cusco area.  Students have planned the Cusco walking tour today and planetarium visit tonight. Tomorrow, they will be visiting the Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay, and Puka Pukara ruins complex just outside of Cusco. This group has really risen to the challenge of student expedition phase planning and are committed to a quality group experience for the whole group!
Best Regards,
